A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO FAVES MY PICTURES :)
I Live and Love being a Photography Student at Plymouth Art College ... a dream come true :) What could be better than to spend my days doing what I love ... a budding artist ... destined for great things (well.... you never know!)
As a Photographer I love to try and be as creative as possible....Minor White is a kindred spirit...I see in the Landscape as he did, all aspects of life in the earths beauty and I never tire of finding new ways to photograph it.
I am also a Writer ..... finding my way .... not yet knowing which direction it will take me but always keeping an open mind.
I try to see in different ways, I try to perceive life in different ways, I try .... that's what is important to me.
The heart holds its own sweet secrets ... find them, and the question of life's mysteries will be revealed to you :)

Feeling the Love .....

I'm drawn to trees now ... Autumn is on its way and I'm 'feeling the love' I have for nature even stronger than before! Its the colours I think that draws me .. and when I walk through the parks and see the sun just catching the leaves and dappling its rays on the barks of the trees.... there's something just out of this world about it for me.
I've just uploaded the 'Evening Walk' sequence and now I'm going to have a look at the ones I took this morning on my way back from the garage ..... I admit I did hug a few lovely trees on the way home!! Feeling the love ...... :)

Trying ....Very Trying :)

So its Sunday and I'm trying really hard to work on my presentation for Tuesday when we go back to college ... I just want to say that I think its really unfair of the lecturers to expect us to give a presentation on our first day back! boo to them! .... I dont usually mind but I'm just not in the zone, and I have done just one thing in my sketch book hehe! ... I'm thinking can I wing it on Tuesday?! I've done a fair bit of reasearch ... I've learned about the Artist, I've looked at Baroque Art/Music/Poetry and Writing ... I've read about 17th Century History, King Charles 1 Reign of Great Britain from around 1608 to when he was executed in 1

Thanks for the fave, and your comments. I don't know if there is a "trick" to being a good absract photographer, but I find it helps to look for a small part of reality that can be divorced/extracted from its usual context, then obsessing on it. Taking the "same" shot 20 different ways help, too. And then there's luck...
Thanks for the tips ...I will definately be trying them out very soon.... and hoping luck comes with me! Pen
